The lightweight 20″ forged alloy BBS rims with Michelin Cup 2 tires are designed for high-speed track driving, but also deliver exceptional performance on the road .

To reflect its extroverted character, an exclusive new color, “Sunlight Yellow” was introduced for the Civic Type R Limited Edition, along with a dark chrome Civic badge on the rear.

With the addition of contrasting gloss black paint on the roof, door mirrors and hood intake, the bold color scheme reflects Honda’s sporting heritage and makes the Limited Edition stand out as a unique car in the performance hatchback segment.

The interior of the Civic Type R Limited Edition reflects Honda’s sporty bloodline: with the iconic red bucket seats and red Alcantara steering wheel complemented by the teardrop-shaped gear knob. Each model is labeled with the car’s build number.

To continue its track-oriented nature, the infotainment and air conditioning systems have been omitted to save weight.

Additional weight is saved by reducing sound deadening materials in the roof, tailgate panel, front bumper and dashboard.

The Limited-Edition Type-R is 47 kg lighter than a Type R in GT specification. Unlike other brands’ track-oriented hatchbacks, the Limited Edition retains its rear seat and the everyday practicality for which the Civic is known.

The new Limited Edition model retains the Type R’s powerful 2.0-liter VTEC turbocharged engine, with peak power of 320 hp at 6,500 rpm and peak torque of 400 Nm from 2,500 rpm to 4,500 rpm. 0-100 km/h is achieved in 5.7 seconds.
